RESEARCH: WHERE WOULD MY TRAILER SITS IN THE MARKETPLACE

Recently, I read an article written by film critic Mark Kermode in the Guardian. In the article, Kermode.
An example is Cary Joji Fukanaga's 2015 film Beasts of no Nation. The movie received a limited theatrical relase but its primary source of distribution was through the online streaming website Netflix. The movie only had a small budget and only had one major actor with Idris Elba. This can be seen as a very good way of distributing an independent movie. Beasts of no Nation was made for under $6 million but still gained a sizable distribution platform. 

Social media is another incredibly effective way of getting a movie such as this distributed. Most trailers will tend to be distributed on Youtube as it is a free way of getting the movie to be known by the public. Youtube worked as an effective way for showing our movie opening for our AS opening which makes it an effective distribution and marketing technique.
