PLANNING MY TREATMENT

Here is the link to our Treatment on Google Docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Mhz6jzfXrvyTvHn9si4vOwK5v0ekZKJ6o9T-wkSQ2BY/edit

For Frank Ash, a creative consultant at the BBC, it is important to focus on the audience as a prime target in order to ensure a universal appeal for the film. Ash made a series of points that give us an idea of what to do when planning a film. I have decided to give an idea for a film that I've recently watched and enjoyed.

The example that I have decided to do was Goodfellas.

Topline : The true story of the life of a gangster from 1955 to 1980.

Story Question: Will he get caught for the criminal activities that he's committed or will he do something that will get him killed by his gangster "friends"?

How important was it to your appreciation of the text?: It helps to deliver a certain level of intensity throughout as you are unsure of how he will go down. You know that in some way, something will happen that will result in a negative outcome but you're unsure of whether it will be other gangsters or whether he will get caught by the police.

Now I have decided to one for our own film trailer

Topline: a young couple called Evie and Adam appear to be blissfully happy together by the girl starts to become dissatisfied with her lot in life as she becomes envious of the many possessions and holidays that her wealthier friend Snakey boasts about. She pressures her boyfriend to rob  a sports shop, have started shoplifting and founding it easy.

Big Question:Will "Adam" turn himself in and will their relationship last?

 A relationship between an "Adam and Eve"
Have someone represent God and the snake
Someone lures them in
Attempted robbery
Relationship put on the test
Girl is lured into robbery by "snake". Shop owner is "God".
Drugs= apples
1975 music video
